Italian Government Scholarship | PHD Programs 2023
Grants are given for research periods of six or nine months for PhD programs. Candidates must fulfil the entry requirements and academic prerequisites the University provides to be accepted to a PhD program in Italy. They must also submit the PhD admission letter from the appropriate Italian university.
Research Projects under Academic Supervision

What is Eligibility for Italian Government Scholarship 2023-2024?

2. Age Requirements

3. Language Requirements
In order to enrol in an English-taught course, applicants must provide a language certification regarding their proficiency in the English Language. The minimum level required is B2 within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
A self-certification may be accepted for candidates from countries where English is an official language. Candidates in possession of an English-taught Bachelor’s degree may submit a document certifying that the study program of their Bachelor’s degree was entirely held in English.
No proof of proficiency in Italian is required for courses entirely taught in English.

Only applications submitted through the Study in Italy portal are accepted. The applicant must have a current passport or identification card. Under penalty of – exclusion, they must submit a readable photocopy of the document at the time of registration. Renewal of Scholarship
